Recipe Summary Greek Lentil Soup (Fakes)

Though the vinegar is of course optional, try it. It lifts the lentils and adds another dimension of flavor!Ingredients | Fake Food Commercials8 ounces brown lentils¼ cup olive oil1 tablespoon minced garlic1 medium onion, minced1 large carrot, chopped1 quart water1 pinch dried oregano1 pinch crushed dried rosemary2 bay leaves1 tablespoon tomato pastesalt and ground black pepper to taste1 teaspoon olive oil, or to taste1 teaspoon red wine vinegar, or to taste (Optional)DirectionsPlace lentils in a large saucepan; add enough water to cover by 1 inch.
